Compassionate Care. Comfortable Living.
Welcome to Utopia Assisted Living, where peace of mind meets personalized care. Nestled in the heart of Mesa, our home provides a safe and supportive environment where every resident is treated like family.
Utopia Assisted Living was founded by Zienna Endicott, a certified caregiver with a passion for creating a space where elders feel truly at home. Alongside Lawrence Endicott and Jan Dodson—both experienced, certified caregivers—Zienna set out to build something personal: a home defined by compassion, dignity, and everyday joy.
Together, their shared vision shaped Utopia into what it is today—a peaceful, supportive environment where residents are treated like family. Located in Mesa, Arizona, the home offers 24/7 care, fresh home-cooked meals free from seed oils, daily routines that promote independence, and the added peace of mind that comes from an on-call pharmacist.
This is not a facility. It’s a home built by caregivers who genuinely care—and it shows in every thoughtful detail.
Our mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a warm and supportive environment. We’re committed to honoring the dignity of every resident through personalized support, a safe and comfortable home, and the everyday kindness that makes life meaningful. With excellence at the heart of everything we do, we bring peace of mind to families and purpose to those we serve.
At Utopia Assisted Living, care isn’t just what we offer—it’s who we are. We promise to treat every resident with the same attention, empathy, and respect we’d give our own family. From the smallest details to the biggest moments, we’re here to make each day safer, happier, and more fulfilling.

When my family began looking for assisted living options for my mom, we were nervous and overwhelmed. We visited a few places that felt cold or too clinical. Then we found Utopia. From the very first tour, we felt something different. The home was warm, peaceful, and genuinely welcoming. The caregivers didn’t rush us. They listened. They answered every question with patience and treated my mom with respect, not like a task to manage. The meals are thoughtful, the environment is clean and cozy, and the care is personal. My mom now joins in on walks, chats with the staff, and actually looks forward to meals (a big deal for her!). As a daughter, I finally feel like I can breathe, knowing she’s in good hands. Utopia gave us peace of mind, and gave my mom back her smile.
Utopia Assisted Living has been a blessing for our family. My dad needed more support than we could provide at home, and the team here stepped in with professionalism and heart. He’s comfortable, well-fed, and never alone. The caregivers always take time to talk to him, not just care for him. You can tell they truly care. It’s hard to find that kind of attention these days.
We chose Utopia for short-term respite care while I was traveling for work. I was anxious about leaving my aunt anywhere unfamiliar, but this team quickly eased my worries. The house was spotless, the room felt like home, and the staff treated her with such warmth. They even kept me updated with texts and photos! When I picked her up, she didn’t want to leave. That speaks volumes. We’ve already talked about returning in the future. Utopia isn’t just a facility. It’s a family.
My husband and I searched for months to find the right place for his mother. When we toured Utopia, we immediately felt a sense of calm. The space is clean, quiet, and full of thoughtful touches. But what really stood out was the staff. They treat every resident with such kindness and dignity. His mom is eating better, smiling more, and even enjoying her daily walks again. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to support her. Utopia truly lives up to its name.
My sister and I were nervous about placing our father into assisted living. He’s fiercely independent, and we didn’t want him to feel like he was losing control. But Utopia understood that right away. They didn’t just ‘admit’ him—they welcomed him. The caregivers took time to build trust and let him settle in at his own pace. They involved him in meal preferences, gave him space when he needed it, and made sure he always felt heard. Every update we’ve received has been reassuring. He even called me last week just to tell me how good the stew was. That’s a win in our book.
